Step 1
Open your web browser and visit your cemetery’s public website.
Step 2
Navigate to the burial search portion of your site and search for the person you wish to add an obituary.
Step 3
Click “View and Share a Memory” or on the name of your loved one to access the Remember My Journey (these names vary based on the version of the burial search you are using). You may even want to right click to “open in a new tab” in order to view the page full screen.
Step 4
In the top left corner of the Remember My Journey page, click to expand the three bar menu. If you see “Log In” you know you will need to log in with your cemetery or family administrator account. Click “Log In” to log into your account. If you see your email address, you are already logged in and you can click anywhere on the page to hide the menu.
Step 5
Once you are logged in, click on the "Obituary" link on the right hand side.
Step 6
Click in the white box to start adding the obituary. Or hop over to the funeral home website and copy and paste the obituary into the box using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl V to paste.
Step 7
Click the "Save" button to save the obituary.
