This article will walk you through accessing the Reservation Types page for cemetery managers and admin in order to set Reservation Types for the Reservation System in the Enterprise Sales Application. If you are interested in licensing this application, please please reach out to webCemeteries at support@webcemeteries.com or 1-800-653-7049.
Step 1
Log into webCemeteries Management.
Step 2
Click "Settings" and select "Reservation Types" from the left sidebar menu.
Step 3
Reservation Types allow a cemetery to determine what types of properties they will allow to be reserved, for how long and by which user roles. The screenshot shows a sample of different types of Reservation Types you could create. You can create as many or as few Reservation Types as your organization needs. Reservation types are not the actual reservation but the building block on which multiple reservations can be successfully created.
Step 4
To create a new Reservation Type click the "Create Reservation Types" button and a pop up window will appear.
Step 5
You are required to enter the name of the type. Next, enter the number of days that you'd like the type to expire after. You can toggle on the "Indefinite" which will keep the reservation forever. For example, a Manager's Hold reservation might use the indefinite toggle. You can also allow for a custom date, which means that the person creating the reservation gets to set the date at the time of the reservation creation.
Step 6
Before you can save your new Reservation Type, you must select which roles in your cemetery can have access to make this type of reservation. If you'd like to create new role types for your cemetery see this How to Article. If you'd like this Reservation Type to be accessible for multiple user roles simply select the role from the list and click the right arrow button circled in yellow in the below screenshot. This will add the user role to the Reservation Type. Add more user roles to the Reservation Type by repeating the process.
Step 7
Be sure to click the "Save" button to save your Reservation Type.
